Learn the techniques to flush toxins out of your body, drain your lymphatic system, boost your immunity and alleviate mental or physical conditions.
Self-massage is a detoxifying process for the body.
In Ayurveda, massage, called Abhyanga in Sanskrit - meaning to oleate.
This powerful and self-caring tool can be used when detoxing and cleansing, or to aid in circulation, lymphatic, cardiovascular, nervous and digestive health.
Self-massage can combat anxiety, depression, mental health disorders, plus the myriad of physical disorders that cause chronic illness and pain in the body.
In this one-off intensive workshop you'll learn specific meridian lines to work with when self-massaging. Ayurvedic techniques and sequences to use when detoxing and eliminating toxins out of the body.
Self-massage ignites your digestive fire, flushes toxins out of your body, promotes cell and hair growth, lymphatic drainage, a strong circulatory system, lowers blood pressure, alleviates heat or coldness in the body and builds brain function.
The workshop will consist of;
- Introduction into Abhyanga massage / self-massage
- Meridian lines and techniques to use to promote vital health and wellbeing
- Techniques to combat the nervous system, physical ailments, pressure points and their positive side effects.
- Lymphatic drainage techniques
- How to use and incorporate Reiki energy healing work to your self-massage practice
- Self-love tools and mindfulness tips to enhance your daily self-regime
- Closing short Guided Meditation to leave you floating off on a magical rainbow boat of happiness
- Takeaway hand-outs
Facilitator: Annie Knoth is an experienced and certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Reiki Master & Teacher, Transformational Coach and Meditation Teacher based in Perth, WA.
